Secrets Of Britain's Historic Houses

Synopsis

We go behind the scenes at two historic homes in the south of England, where renowned writers Rudyard Kipling and Vita Sackville-West came to create some of their best-known work. Sissinghurst Castle in Kent is a rambling manor that once hosted Elizabeth I and is now world-renowned for its stunning garden. A collapsed ceiling means restoring Vita Sackville-West's study from scratch, while Rudyard Kipling's family history is revealed in a precious possession.
